You can with the News article Module create a slide show of images to illustrate your articles. To do so when your creating your article, when you reach Images portion of the administration page (just below the Text Editor), expand that control.



You will now see (indicated by the arrows) three ways to attach images. You can upload new images, use existing images or use an image from an external source/web site.



In the above illustration you can see that you can upload a number of images at on time by pressing "Shift: key on your keyboard and selecting the images with your mouse.


After the images have been uploaded, the image titles can be changed, or the order in which they'll be displayed can be altered.


When you article is complete, you should see something like the above in your article. Clicking on an image will start a light-box slide show.
