Once you have logged in to add or edit articles, you will be given a few extra options in the menu at the top of the module. These are dependent on your role within the website, you can designate a role that can only submit articles, another role that can only approve and still have the general module admin role that can do everything plus configuration.
(Appearance may change based on the site theme, but the control layout will be the same.)
News Article Create

At the Create Article you can enter an articles details (title, categories, summary, start/publish date, image).

You can add attachments to file on the website, or links to the website or any outside resource.


An optional Summary can be added. This section is the "teaser" on the articles list view. If this is omitted, the first few sentences from the article will be displayed.


From the Organize and Publish sections, you can select a category (or multiple categories by using the 'Ctrl' button and mouse), change authors, set start and stop dates as well as save the article (leave it in draft), add more pages to the article, submit for approval or cancel the submission.
