You can access your NDD Document Manager with a small easy to use Windows client.  You can download the client from CrossFTP. Using the CrossFTP client will be able to add/delete, update and sync documents and items just like you would through the web interface. Versioning will remain intact as will the directories permissions.

When you first install the client (java install) you will be greeted by the user interface below. Select "Site", "Site Manager"
Site Manager

Select "New Site" from the next screen and complete the information in the right-hand pane.

If you use BitKinex currently, you can get this information by opening BitKinex and right-click you connection(s) and select Properties. After you have that information entered, select the "Connect" button.

You should now be connected to you Document Manager. You can navigate your hard-drive(s) on the left-hand side and the DMS on the right. Optionally, you can drag files from you Windows Explorer directly to the DMS side.

To Sync folders using CrossFTP(requires the Pro Edition)
First navigate to the folders you'd like sync'd. Then select "Tool>Synchronize Directories".

On the next screen you can select some basic sync setting for direction, file types and case, etc. After which select the "Preview" button, this will show you the files that will be sync'd.

Now select Sync and the main window will appear. Notice that the files have been loaded to the queue in the lower left-corner. Selecting the play icon will begin the file transfer. Please note that you can queue multiple jobs, then begin the file transfer.
